Thankful

Now, I'm not a religious person at all. I have things that I believe in and some things that I don't. I have my own explanations for the way things are, and I also hold my own questions for the universe.
So regardless of the whole turkey deal, I am thankful for many things.

Some of them include:
-My unconditionally supportive family
-My friends. Who laugh with me, and know when it's okay to laugh at me.
-The opportunity I have had my entire life for my first rate education
-The fact that I live and breathe in a free country
-The good fortune to have all my senses fully functional and aware so that I soak up the world around me (I could have just typed 'Health')
-Music, the soundtrack to my life (cliche)
-Having today
-Always having tomorrow.

Shameless Advertising

Did you know, in some places around the world beer is cheaper than bottled water?

It's true.

And tasty.

Never ending...

Today just keeps going on forever, and just when I think I've caught up with everything spinning around me I'm knocked off balance and remain one step behind everything that needs to get done. I love school, but sometimes I can't focus on anything. Not even things worth procrastinating over.
This blog is the most focus I have put in anything today.

Merrily Merrily

Everyone in Amsterdam rides their bike while smoking a cigarette and holding an umbrella.

*Sigh

I remember floating on my back in the pool in the middle of a Cypriot village watching the Dragonflies dart across the water, eating the little bugs. I also remember sitting at meals and looking at the dusty hills behind the cathedral.

The heat that would make you sweat, even if you were just sitting still.

It doesn't take much for me to close my eyes and remember this place, on these drippy Seattle days.

I would rather go fly a kite.

OBAMA...

...is my president.

And the above are fireworks.
