Graduation 2009

It's weird:
-To not be a student anymore (for right now at least)
-To be called a graduate
-To not have school in the fall
-To add all this new and cool information to my resume'
-To apply to serious jobs

Last night was my Sociology graduation ceremony. It was really low key, but I enjoyed that it was more intimate than the big commencement on Saturday. I wanted to get a picture with my favorite professor who sparked my interest to major in Sociology. After I tapped on her shoulder to thank her for being so encouraging, I started to cry. Full on blubber right in front of this woman whom I respect a great deal.

All this stuff makes me all emotional. I cried when I a saw a UW Alumni Mug.

Come Sail Away

Enjoying the Spring breeze on Lake Union
Ben's silhouette.
Aye Aye Captain!
" I'll never let go, Jack"
Me, fending our sailboat from the others in the moorage.

It's already been a great Spring, and I can not wait for summer to get here. I live 3 blocks away from Lake Union, a 5 minute walk from Fremont, a stones throw away from 7/11(Slurpees), and the view from my front windows is of the Seattle skyline.

How refreshing.

Marymoore Park

For a large hunk of cement slab with a few bricks, the pinnacle at Marymoore was a lot of fun.

I underestimated its challenge, but I think it's a good spot to learn how to lead climb.

I also never believed I would be belayed by Sean, but I'm excited to have another friend interested in the sport.

If you can't find me this summer, it's because I'm on some rock.

Hammock

On sunny days like today, I REALLY wish I had a hammock.
Among other things.
